IMPORTANT NOTE ON EXAM TIMINGS
The length of each AAT CBE exam varies depending on the unit/paper you are sitting an assessment for and you will be allocated a slot for the full time for your respective exam.
Please note however, that the exam start and end time on the booking pages will be the same. The time reflects a system set up timing only to allow us to schedule multiple exam sessions across different rooms where necesssary. Therefore please ignore the end time on the booking pages - the important time is the Start Time and it is imperative that you arrive no later than this Start Time as late arrivals will not be permitted to the exam room and you would need to rebook and pay a new fee.

Please note that the SAGE ONE accounting package is used for the Using Accounting Software Exams at First Intuition Chelmsford. This is a cloud based package and is not the same as other versions of SAGE e.g SAGE 50. Please ensure that you are familiar with SAGE ONE before booking your exam as no help can be given on the day or refunds given once your exam is booked.

Important note from 1 September 2021, AAT have introduced changes to the Advanced Synoptic examination. The exam will now consist of 6 tasks covering; Advanced Bookkeeping, Final Accounts Preparation, Management Accounting: Costing and Ethics for Accountants.
The Spreadsheets element is no longer included as part of this 2.5 hour exam and will be assessed separately in a different way. First Intuition Chelmsford students attending classroom courses should contact us directly for further information on assessment arrangements for this element. First Intuition students studying through other centres should contact their local centre or, if studying via distance learning, contact the Distance Learning team. All other students who do not study at First Intuition should contact their Training Provider for further details on arrangements for undertaking the Spreadsheets element of the assessment.
Finally, please note that Level 3 End Point Assessments for Apprentices not studying with First Intuition Chelmsford cannot be booked at this exam centre. Please contact the AAT for details of assessment centres who do offer EPAs to Apprentices from other Training Providers.
